The meeting of Summarizing of phase 1 and recommendations for implementation of phase 2 towards the project “Peer education of HIV/AIDS prevention for the recruits in the Army in Vietnam”

In 29/12/2010, in Hanoi, Institute of Population, Health and Development (PHAD) conducted a round of review meeting and recommendation for phase 2. Attending the meeting included representative of Army Medical Department (MMD), representative of DoD/PEPFAR and representative of PHAD.

In the phase 1, the project was implemented at 14 military regions/cops. PHAD and MMD have consented to project activities plan for recruits in 9/2010. The activities were mutually promote the implementation and completion and ensure following the progress of the program outlined.

The meeting was discussing about the way to implementing the second phase of project to ensure the technical requirements, to meet the quality requirements of DoD/PEPFAR/PHAD and in accordance with specific characteristics of the Military.
