Research Findings Disseminating Workshop on Health Status and Behaviors of People in Thai Nguyen: Evidence from population-based surveys in the province held on 21 Sept 2012 at Meliã Hanoi Hotel.
This workshop aims to disseminate research findings from cross-sectional population-based survey of the research “Improved access, equity, quality and utilization of CHC services, in particular by women from poor, ethnic minorities and remote areas in Thai Nguyen” conducted by the Population Council (PCVN) and the Institute of Population, Health and Development (PHAD).
This event was attended by more than 60 participants from the Ministry of Health, Thai Nguyen Health Department, Thai Nguyen University of Medicine and Pharmacy (TNUMP), Hanoi school of Public Health, Hanoi Medical University, Research Institutes and INGOs such as: Atlantic Philanthropies, PCVN, WHO, MCNV, SSRC, UNPFA, UNICEF, GIZ, USAID, FHI 360.
There were 3 sessions in the workshop, namely Health status, Health behavior and Contraception & abortion, with 10 presentations that were presented by PCVN, PHAD and TNUMP.
1 day of workshop was successful and received lot of comments and sharing experiences from participants.
