Training oppotunity

Institute of Population, Health and Development (PHAD), a Viet Nam NGO – member of Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA) bases in Hanoi, is looking for intern position as follows:

Position: Intern (1-2 positions)

Program: Mental Health

Duration: 06 months

Task: Participate in “Child Mental Health” project, to participate in different project activities such as development of counseling materials, training materials, development of lieflets, brochure and audio, video using in the program, participate in different kind of trainings and field test of materials.

Requirement: At least undergraduate from well known universities with specialized in public health, medicine or social sciences. This is training opportunity for young public health professional. Newly undergraduates are welcome to apply. No previous experiences required but fluent of English is required. Applicant should have very good speaking and communication skills, love to work with children and having exelent telephone skill. Experiences with audio and video making and edition is an advantage.

Benefit: Opportunity to work with senior researchers and program officers in project managed by PHAD; participate in training courses offer by PHAD, participate in the fieldwork, data analysis of PHAD; Other benefit: the intern will be provided with lunch, working place, perdiem and travel expenses if participating in the fieldwork/fieldtrip. Salary: This position is not considered as fulltime staff of PHAD therefore, full benefit package will not apply. The position will receive a monthly tuition equivalent to VND1,500,000/month and given advantage if an official position opened at PHAD.
