dMOM INTERVENTIONS
DMOM includes two main interventions: SMS & APP.
The phone short message service (SMS) intervention is established to provide health care support service packages for the following subjects: pregnant women and new mothers. Activities are based on interaction via phone messages to communicate, monitor health, advise and support treatment for local women when necessary.
Messages with content appropriate to each service package will be set up and sent to women in the commune at appropriate times. There are two types of messages: one-way messages (only sends notification messages to women and does not require them to send a response message); 2-way messaging (send messages to women and receive feedback from them). Service packages included in the program include:
- Service package for pregnant women: is a package of messages guiding the care and use of essential medical services during pregnancy for pregnant women.
- Service package for women after giving birth and raising children under 5 year old: is a package of messages instructing care for postpartum mothers and children under 5 year old.
